Defne’nin annesi ona bir gün bir bebek hediye eder: Matruşka! Defne, bir oyuncak bebeği olduğuna sevinirken,

iç içe geçmiş bebekleri fark ettikçe mutluluktan havalara uçar. İç içe geçmiş bu bebekler anneler gibidir!

Defne’nin annesi de diğer anneler gibi bazen bir terzi, bazen bir bahçıvan, bazen doktor, bazen öğretmendir…
